Councelling in social work with socially excluded Roma

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá specifickými potřebami sociálně vyloučených příslušníků romské etnické skupiny v kontextu poradenského procesu. Práci si klade za cíl objasnit a popsat jak mohou specifické potřeby cílové skupiny ovlivňovat poradenský proces a poukázat na reflexi těchto potřeb. Poradenský proces v sociální práci nepředstavuje pouhé předávání informací, ale je souhrnem komplexních dovedností na straně sociálních pracovníků. Větší porozumění specifik cílové skupiny, se kterou sociální pracovníci v rámci poradenského procesu setkávají, může do vzájemné spolupráce vnést individuálnější přístup a větší porozumění potřebám této skupiny. Rozpoznání a popis a následná reflexe specifických potřeb sociálně vyloučených příslušníků romské etnické skupiny v poradenském procesu může zavdat společnou úspěšnější a efektivnější práci na cíli – sociálního fungování klienta a sociálního pracovníka. Cílem práce je také seznámit čtenáře s teoretickými koncepty a pojmy, které jsou spojeny s tématem práce a na analýze a interpretaci sebraných dat ukázat možnosti přesahu těchto dat do samotné praktické sociální práce.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the specific needs of socially excluded members of the Roma ethnic group in the context of the counseling process. Work aims to clarify and describe how the specific needs of the target groups to influence the counseling process and to show the reflection of these needs. Counseling process in social work does not constitute only transmission of information, but is a summary of complex skills on the part of social workers. Better understanding of the specifics of the target group with which social workers within the counseling process encounter, mutual cooperation can bring a more personalized approach and a greater understanding of the needs of this group. Identify and describe and consequent reflection on the specific needs of socially excluded members of the Roma ethnic group in the race, the counseling process can be shared more successful and effective work on the goal - social functioning client and social worker. The aim is also to familiarize the reader with the theoretical concepts and terms that are associated with the theme of the work and the analysis and interpretation of collected data indicate the possibility of overlap of these data to the actual practice of social work.
