Production of intrinsically unstructured proteins involved in formation of enamel matrix

Production of intrinsically unstructured proteins involved in formation of enamel matrix
Abstract:
Zubní sklovina je nejtvrdší tkáň v těle obratlovců. Z 98 % je tvořena minerálem hydroxylapatitem uspořádaným do podoby tzv. prizmat obklopených aprizmatickou hmotou. Sklovina vzniká procesem biominaralizace jako sekreční produkt buněk ameloblastů. Tyto speciální buňky produkují během amelogeneze velké množství proteinů, mezi které patří především amelogenin, ameloblastin, enamelin, tuftelin a mnohé …more
Abstract:
Tooth enamel is the hardest tissue of the body of vertebrates. It is formed by 98 % of hydroxylapatit mineral organized in so-called rods surrounded by interrod substance. Enamel is formed by process called biomineralization as a secreted product of ameloblasts. During amelogenesis these special cells produce a great amount of proteins, especially amelogenin, ameloblastin, enamelin, tuftelin and many …more
