Abstract:

Intenzitu vnímání mobilního zařízení, jakožto mentální extenze člověka, zvýšil Steve Jobs představením mobilního zařízení iPhone v polovině roku 2007. Z pohledu média web šlo o zlomový okamžik, který započal transformaci světa desktopového webu ve svět, v němž lze web prohlížet a tvořit na nepřeberném množství zařízení. V roce 2012 je web nepředvídatelný a všudypřítomný. Vizionářské hnutí Future-Friendly poukazuje na závažnost této transformace, pokouší se o predikci vývoje webu a nastoluje teze nabádající návrháře webových stránek či aplikací k tvorbě webu reflektující ony predikce. Cílem této bakalářské práce bude uvedení tezí hnutí Future-Friendly do širších technologicko-historicko-kulturních kontextů, jež se především zabývají obsahem zobrazovaným na webu a novými kontexty užití, v nichž se uživatelé webu pohybují. Tyto teze poslouží jako vodítka a opěrné body k nalezení odpovědí na otázky „Co je to web z pohledu zobrazovacích zařízení?“, „Jaký je skutečný fokus uživatele webu z pohledu obsahu webu?“ a „Jaké jsou nové kontexty užití webu?“. Po zodpovězení nastolených otázek bude mít čtenář jasnou vizi o médiu web podle hnutí Future-Friendly a znát technologicko-historické kontexty, z nichž tato vize vychází.

Abstract:

The intensity of perception of mobile devices as a mental extension of a human being was increased by Steve Jobs. He introduced iPhone in mid- 2007. It was an important moment for the Web because the transformation of the desktop Web into world of the quantity and diversity of connected devices.The Web is unpredictable and ubiquitous in 2012. The "Future-Friendly" movement understands the magnitude of the transformation and tries to predict future of the Web. The movement also establishes ideas how to create websites and applications according to the future prediction. The aim of this thesis is to present ideas of the "Future-Friendly" movement in technological, historical and cultural contexts. These contexts are based on content of the Web and ways how people use the Web. Ideas of the "Future-Friendly" movement help us to find answers to questions: "What means the Web from the device point of view?", "What is the real focus of the user while consuming the Web content?", "What are new ways of use of the Web?". After answering these questions the reader will know the "Future-Friendly" movement's vision of the Web and will know technological, historical and cultural contexts the vision is based on.
