Práce se zaměřuje na rozdíly v posunu mediálního diskurzu během prvních dnů Sametové revoluce v Československu (17.11. 1989 – 27.11.1989) u dvou vybraných deníků: Rudého práva a Svobodného slova. Práce kombinuje přístupy politických a mediálních studií, na jejichž základě konstruuje vlastní model pro vysvětlení jak samotného faktu posunu mediálního diskurzu, tak i rozdílů mezi těmito posuny. The thesis focuses on the differences in discourse shifts during the first days of Czechoslovakia's Velvet Revolution (17.11. 1989 - 27.11. 1989) in two selected dailies: Rude pravo and Svobodne slovo.
