Economic analysis of selected company

Abstract:

Cílem práce je určit prostřednictvím vybraných analýz tržní výnosovou hodnotu a další finanční a ekonomické ukazatele vybraného podniku, díky nimž bude posouzeno finanční zdraví firmy, jeho konkurenční výhoda, postavení a podíl na trhu a zkoncipovat nápady a inovace na zlepšení anebo udržení současného stavu.Při ekonomické analýze bylo zjištěno, že hotel Sheraton vykazuje výnosovou hodnotu ve formě cash flow ve výši 57,26 mil. Kč, výnosovou hodnotu ve formě čistých kapitalizovaných výnosů ve výši 1,98 mld. Kč a výnosovou hodnotu ve formě operačního ekonomického zisku ve výši 55,66 mil. Kč. Výsledná hodnota Z-skóre Altmanovy rovnice je 4,05 a svědčí o pozitivní prosperitě podniku. Výsledná hodnota Indexu důvěryhodnosti je 4,1 a výsledná hodnota Tafflerovy rovnice je kladná a to vše svědčí o dobrém finančním zdraví podniku. Kralickův quicktest hodnotí hotel Sheraton po stránce finanční stability a výnosu jako velmi dobrý. Výsledek Tamariho algoritmu, při kterém bylo dosaženo 61 bodů, vypovídá malou pravděpodobnost bankrotu. Strategie, která se uplatní stanovit pro hotel Sheraton, je udržování stávajících investic. Ukazatele ROE a ROA se nachází na úrovni středních hodnot trhu. Ukazatele finanční samostatnost, samofinancování, krytí stálých aktiv a ROI jsou nad středními hodnotami trhu. Ukazatelé věřitelské riziko, finanční páka a zadlužení vlastního kapitálu jsou pod středními hodnotami trhu. V pořadí pražských hotelů podle kapitálu Sheraton zaujímá 3. místo. V poměru ceny akcie k zisku pražských hotelů Sheraton zaujímá 2. místo. Nápady a inovace na zlepšení anebo udržení současného stavu jsou takové, že by se mělo více investovat do propagace a marketingu.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to determine the Market Return Value and other financial and economic indicators of the selected company through selected analyzes, which will assess the financial health of the company, its competitive advantage, its position and market share, and conceive ideas and innovations to improve or maintain the current state.The economic analysis revealed that the Sheraton Hotel has a return value 57,26 mio. CZK in cash flow, 1,98 bn. CZK in capitalized yield and 55,66 mio. CZK in economic profit. The result of Altman´s equation is 4,05, testifies to positive prosperity of the business. The result of trust index is 4,1 and the positive result of Taffler´s equation, testifies to good financial health of the company. Kralick´s quick test evaluates the Sheraton in terms of financial stability and return as very good. The result of Tamari's algorithm, at which 61 points were reached, indicates a low probability of bankruptcy. The strategy that will apply to the Sheraton Hotel is to maintain existing investments. The ROE and ROA indicators are at the mid-market level. The indicators of financial autonomy, of self-financing, of coverage of fixed assets and of ROI are above average market values. Indicators of credit risk, of financial leverage and of debt are below market values. In the ranking of Prague hotels according to the capital Sheraton occupies the 3rd place. In terms of share price to the profits of Prague hotels Sheraton ranks the second. Ideas and innovations to improve or maintain the current state are such that more investment should be made in promotion and marketing.
