Diplomová práce má dvě části. První teoretická část se zabývá historií bolesti, fyziologií bolesti, typem bolesti a jejím hodnocením. Dále teoretická část obsahuje bolestí u seniorů, léčbou bolesti, péčí o pacienta s bolestí a zařízením pro léčbu bolesti. The graduation thesis has two parts. The first, theoretical part deals with the history of pain, physiology of pain, the type of pain and assessment of pain. The theoretical part deals also with pain in the elderly, treatment of pain, care of patients with pain and the institutions for treatment of pain.
