Analysis of the system of internal communication in particular organization

Abstract:

Rozumně fungující a pokud možno kvalitní či snadný průběh interní komunikace je dle mnohých autorů důležitou podmínkou fungování samotné organizace. Tato skutečnost má v současné době význam pro různé typy organizací a také pro organizaci, která byla předmětem výzkumu mé diplomové práce. Na průběh interní komunikace má vliv míra naplňování komunikačních cílů osob v organizaci. Cílem této studie bylo proto najít odpověď na hlavní výzkumnou otázku, jež zjišťovala, jak jsou komunikační cíle klíčových osob v konkrétní organizaci podporovány nebo v jakých aspektech je této podpoře naopak bráněno. Výstupem stanovených teoretických konceptů bylo sestavení výzkumných otázek, jejichž následné zodpovězení respondenty přineslo zjištění, že komunikační cíle klíčových osob jsou v organizaci podporovány v určitých aspektech firemní kultury, v míře, v jaké je v organizaci zastoupen formální či neformální styl komunikace, v oblasti komunikačních dovedností klíčových osob a částečně v oblasti motivace. V jistých mezích jsou také cíle podporovány prostřednictvím současně používaných komunikačních kanálů. Komunikační cíle nejsou podporovány v oblasti informovanosti, obsahu a snadnosti průběhu komunikace. Ale také v oblasti delegování, důvěry a motivace, týkající se konkrétně seberealizace. Dále i z hlediska přítomnosti zpětné vazby a otevřenější komunikace. V rámci organizačních možností nejsou podporovány z hlediska četnosti výskytu osobní komunikace. Pro vybranou organizaci byla tedy navržena opatření, která by mohla pomoci napravit stávající nedostatečný stav naplňování komunikačních cílů osob a zamezit jeho případnému budoucímu vznikání.

Abstract:

Reasonably functioning and if possible good-quality and easy running internal communication is according to many authors an important prerequisite for the functioning of the organization itself. This fact is nowadays significant for the various types of organizations and also for the organization, which was the subject of my thesis research. An impact on the course of internal communication has a rate, in which are the communication objectives of persons in organization being fulfilled. The objective of my thesis was therefore to find the answer to the key question, which examined how the communication objectives of key individuals in the particular organization were supported or which aspects of this support were on the contrary prevented. The outcome of the set of theoretical concepts was the creation of the research questions. These questions were subsequently answered by the respondents, and it revealed, that the communication objectives of key people were supported in certain aspects of corporate culture, in a formal or informal communication style, in communication skills of key individuals, and in some aspects of motivation. To some extent the aims were also supported through currently used communication channels. Communication goals were not supported in the field of informedness, information content and in the expected smooth running of communication. But also not in the field of delegation, trust and motivation relating specifically to self-realization. Furthermore also because of not sufficient presence of feedback and open communication. In terms of the organizational facilities, aims were not supported in the frequency of face-to-face communication. For the selected organization were therefore proposed measures, that could help remedy the current lack of fulfilling the communication objectives, and to avoid its possible future emergence.
