Measuring the traffic volumes on particular roadway network

Abstract:

Předmětem bakalářské práce je analýza intenzit automobilové dopravy na tzv. „zanádražní“ komunikaci v Českých Budějovicích. Zanádražní komunikace je ucelený soubor pozemních komunikací, jenž má ulevit složité dopravní situaci v okolí vlakového nádraží a kolejové trati. Právě v těchto místech docházelo k častým dopravním kongescím. Z těchto a dalších důvodů patřila realizace stavby mezi priority v územním plánu. K zhodnocení současného stavu intenzit dopravy na zanádražní komunikaci byly provedeny vlastní dopravní průzkumy na vybraných úsecích. Naměřené intenzity dopravy byly následně přepočteny na jednotlivé průměry týdenních a ročních denních intenzit. Na základě toho byla stanovena prognóza vývoje dopravy v pětiletých cyklech pro roky 2020, 2025 a 2030. Naměřené intenzity byly také porovnány s celostátním sčítáním dopravy, které bylo provedeno před výstavbou zanádražní komunikace. Získané informace jasně ukazují značné vytížení komunikace. Podle posouzení skladby dopravního proudu je také evidentní vysoké vytížení nákladními vozy. Efektivita i přínos komunikace jsou již nyní znatelné. Po dokončení plánované navazující infrastruktury se bude jednat o velmi významnou složku sítě pozemních komunikací v Českých Budějovicích.

Abstract:

The subject of the Bachelor's thesis is the analysis of the intensities of car traffic transport so-called in the informal term "The backup plan of the infrastructure". "The backup plan of the infrastructure" is a complete planned set of infrastructure whose main importance is to help with difficulties of ground communication at the railways. Mainly, this area of transport communication was found as the issue which caused the most ground transport congestion. Therefore, that is the main reason why this infrastructure construction has become a priority of the "Zoning plan" or also called "Territorial management". The ability to explore the efficiency of this "Backup infrastructure plan" was based on proper evaluation on selected areas of this problematic issue. The final researched intensity of transport were subsequently converted to individual weekly and annual averages of daily intensities. Basically, that is how they created effective establishment on 5-year cycles for the following years 2020, 2025 and 2030. Also, the important part of effective research was to be able to compare infrastructure intensity with national transport statistics that existed already before the construction of "The backup infrastructure plan". These statistics also highlighted the considerable workload of transport communications and It also pointed on issue caused by freight wagons. The efficiency and the benefits of this project is already recognised. After the completion of this planned building infrastructure whole project will become a very significant component of the network of road communication in "Ceske Budejovice".
