Religious group as a source of sense of belonging

Abstract:

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá výzkumem jedné náboženské skupiny, která vychází z křesťanských tradic a pojetí víry. Skupina si zakládá na častém a osobním kontaktu svých členů a zajišťuje tak mezi nimi bližší osobní a přátelské vztahy. Předmětem zájmu této práce jsou především podoby integračních funkcí a nástroje, jejichž prostřednictvím vzniká mezi členy skupiny navzájem a rovněž mezi členy skupiny a skupinou samotnou pocit sounáležitosti. Tento cíl by bylo obtížné naplnit bez přímé účasti ve skupině, a proto práci pojímám jako případovou studii s etnografickým designem. Hlavními výzkumnými metodami jsou zúčastněné pozorování, rozhovory s participanty a studium dokumentů. Z pozice výzkumníka jsem se účastnil formálních i neformálních akcí skupiny. Se členy, kteří projevili souhlas, byly provedeny hloubkové rozhovory na dané téma.

Abstract:

This work is concentrated to study of minor religious group based on christian faith. The Group builds on the frequent and personal contact between members and ensures a closer personal and friendly relationship between them. The subject of interest is the integration functions and tools, through which the feeling of belonging is formed between the members and also among the members of the group and the group. This goal would be difficult to fulfill without direct participation in the group, and therefore I treat this work as a case study with ethnographic design. The main research methods will be participating observation, interviews with participants and document study. From the position of a researcher I will participate in both formal and informal group events. With members who express the point of agreement, i will make in-depth interviews about the topic.
