Design of a multidimensional measurement system and performance management

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje návrhu a implementaci vícerozměrného systému měření a řízení výkonnosti pro konkrétní podnik. Podnik, pro který je systém navrhován je digitální agenturou, která vyvíjí především mobilní a webové aplikace. Navržený systém je založen na principech koncepce Balanced Scorecard. Samotná práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části, jimiž jsou teoretická část a praktická část. V teoretické části je provedena rešerše literatury a je položen teoretický základ diplomové práce. Praktická část obsahuje nejprve představení podniku a následně strategickou analýzu, z níž vychází samotný návrh vícerozměrného systému měření a řízení výkonnosti. V závěru praktické části práce je popsána možná implementace navrženého systému v podniku.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis is focused on the design and implementation of a multidimensional system for measuring and managing the performance of a specific business. The business for which the system is designed is a digital agency that develops mobile and web applications. The proposed system is based on the principles of the Balanced Scorecard concept. The thesis itself is divided into two main sections, the theoretical section and the practical section. The theoretical section is based on literature research and lays out the theoretical foundation of the thesis. The practical section firstly introduces the business itself and then secondly provides a strategic analysis of the business, which serves as the basis for proposing the new system of measuring and managing the performance of the business. The practical section then concludes by describing the actual implementation of the proposed system into the business.
