Opinions of supervisors and employees of social firm on human and social development of employees

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zaměřuje na hodnocení změny a sociálního kapitálu u osob zaměstnaných ve sledované sociální firmě z pohledu těchto zaměstnanců a jejich nadřízených pracovníků. Tyto osoby jsou na běžném pracovním trhu znevýhodněny s ohledem na své zdravotní postižení a další sociální charakteristiky. Sociální firma zde vystupuje jako nástroj řešení jejich obtížné situace. Cílem práce v teoretické části je ukázat možnosti sociální ekonomiky a sociálních podniků, nastínit problematiku lidského a sociálního kapitálu a jeho znehodnocení při ztrátě zaměstnání.V kvalitativního výzkumu byly pomocí rozhovorů s návodem zjištěny názory jednotlivých osob na změny lidského a sociálního kapitálu v případě zaměstnání v sociální firmě. Z rozhovorů vyšlo najevo, že zaměstnání má opravdu vliv na lidský a sociální kapitál znevýhodněných zaměstnanců. Vliv je dvojího směru – udržení stávajícího stavu či pozitivní změna a rozvoj. Negativní dopady nebyly zaznamenány. Na závěr je předloženo několik doporučení, jak pracovat na dalším rozvoji lidského a sociálního kapitálu cílových osob sociální firmy.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis focuses on the evaluation of changes in human and social capital of the people who are employed in the researched social firm from the perspective of the employeesa and their supervisors. These people are disadvantaged at the ordinary labour market due to their physical disability and other social characteristics. Social enterprise appears as a tool the solution of their difficult situation. The aim of the theoretical part of the thesis is to show the possibilities of social economy and social enterprises, and to provide an overview of human and social capital and their depreciation in the case of a job loss. In the qualitative reserach based on interviews held with instruction, there were identified the opinionis of the employees about the changes in human and social capital in the case of the employment in the social firm. The interviews revealed that.job has really impact on social and human capital of disadvantaged workers. Influence has a dual direction: maintaining the current status or a positive change and development. Negative effects were noted. Finally, there are presented several recommendations such as to work on further development of human and social capital of the target people of a social firm.
