The influence of selected principles of corporate governance in project management in the the economic development of the state-owned enterprises in the Czech republic in the years 2000 – 2015

Abstract:

Cílem disertační práce je analyzovat principy corporate governance ve vybraných strategických státních podnicích České republiky (Řízení letového provozu České republiky, s. p., Lesy České republiky, s. p., Budějovický Budvar, n. p., Povodí Vltavy, s. p.) v období 2000-2015. Cílem této disertační práce je ověřování, zda ve strategických státních podnicích v ČR (Řízení letového provozu České republiky, s. p., Lesy České republiky, s. p., Budějovický Budvar, n. p., Povodí Vltavy, s. p.) jsou uplatňovány principy CG prostřednictvím výzkumu v časovém intervalu 2000-2015 (dotazníkové šetření, řízené rozhovory a analýza dokumentace CG a ekonomického vývoje). Bude analyzována implementace prostřednictvím dotazníkového šetření, řízených rozhovorů a zkoumání vlastní dokumentace CG. Dále ve zkoumaném časovém intervalu bude analyzován vývoj základních ekonomických parametrů tak, aby mohla být porovnána souvztažnost s aplikací CG. Cílem práce v teoretické oblasti je v první řadě analýza vývoje CG v zahraničních vědeckých časopisech s nenulovým impakt faktorem, dále charakteristika dotčených teorií a pojmů a metodologického aparátu. Teoretická část seznámí čtenáře s problematikou corporate governance a projektovým managementem, což bude tvořit teoretickou základnu pro analytickou část, která bude ve čtyřech státních podnicích analyzovat aplikaci vybraných principů corporate governance.

Abstract:

The dissertation analyzes the principles of corporate governance in selected strategic state- owned enterprises of the Czech republic (Řízení letového provozu ČR, s. p., Lesy ČR, s. p., Budějovický Budvar, n. p., Povodí Vltavy, s. p.) in the period 2000-2015. The aim of this thesis is the verification of whether in strategic state-owned enterprises in the Czech republic (Řízení letového provozu ČR, s. p., Lesy ČR, s. p., Budějovický Budvar, n. p., Povodí Vltavy, s.p.) applied the principles of the CG through research in the time interval2000-2015 (survey, controlled interviews and analysis of documentation CG and economic development). It was analyzed the implementation through a questionnaire survey, structured interviews and exploring their own documentation of the CG. Furthermore, in the analysis time interval was analyzed the development of the basic economic parameters so that it can be compared to the correlation with the applications of CG.The aim of the work in the theoretical field is in the first place analysis of the evolution of CG in international scientific journals with nonzero impact factor, a further characteristic of the concerned theories and concepts and the methodological apparatus. The theoretical part introduces the reader with the issue of corporate governance and project management, which forms the theoretical base for the analytical part, which in the four state-owned enterprises analyses the application of selected principles of corporate governance.
