New perspective on the neutropenic diet
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce se zabývá novým pohledem na neutropenickou dietu předepisovanou pacientům s oslabenou imunitou pro snížení rizika infekce z potravin. Dieta omezuje především čerstvé ovoce a zeleninu. Teoretická část zahrnuje definici neutropenie a febrilní neutropenie, její příčiny a pohlíží na ni jako na důsledek onkologické léčby. Abstract:
The bachelor thesis deals with a new perspective on the neutropenic diet prescribed to immunocompromised patients to reduce the risk of foodborne infection. The diet limits mainly fresh fruits and vegetables. The theoretical part includes the definition of neutropenia and febrile neutropenia, its causes and views it as a consequence of cancer treatment.
