E-commerce with a Focus on Companies with a Regional Scope

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá využitím možnosti elektronického obchodování pro regionální prodejce, především provozováním vlastního internetového e-shopu. Obsahuje veškeré základní informace o pojmech, které s touto problematikou souvisí, včetně jejich teoretického popisu a praktických ukázek využití při prodeji různorodého artiklu. Teoretická část popisuje problematiku počátečního rozhodování, jakým způsobem do světa elektronického obchodování vstoupit a využít s co nejvyšším možným přínosem všech jeho možností a podpořit tak prodeje již zavedené firmy v kamenných obchodech, anebo vybudovat firmu prosperující především na prodeji prostřednictvím internetu. Teoretická část dále vysvětluje rozsáhlé množství pojmů jak z těch, které by měly být objasněny obchodníkům, tak z těch ryze odborných, jež jsou součástí problematiky technického zabezpečení funkčnosti elektronického obchodu. V praktické části diplomové práce je popsán vývoj a možnosti využití aplikace umožňující identifikaci návštěvníka webové prezentace na základě místa přihlášení k internetové síti. Závěrečná kapitola je věnována možnostem komunikace se zákazníkem. Jedná se především o ukázky způsobů, kterými lze získat cenné informace z průběhu jednotlivých objednávek, následné vyhodnocení a především udržení co největšího množství spokojených zákazníků pro následný kontakt s nimi a samozřejmě uskutečnění dalších objednávek.

Abstract:

This thesis deals with the use of e-commerce opportunities for regional sales, primarily running their own web shop. It contains all the basic information on the terms that relate to this issue, including a description of their theoretical and practical demonstrations on the use of diverse sales item. The theoretical part describes the issue of the initial decision how to enter the world of electronic commerce and how to use the utmost possible benefit of all its possibilities to support the sales of already established firms in the shops or to build a thriving business selling mainly through the Internet. The theoretical part also explains the large number of concepts from both of those which should be explained to traders, and of those technical terms that are part of the issue of technical security of e-commerce functionality. The practical part of the thesis describes the development and possibilities of applications which identify the website visitor based on where you log on to the Internet. The conclusion is devoted to communication with the customer. These are in particular examples of ways by which you can get valuable information from the individual orders, following analysis and in particular to maintain the greatest number of satisfied customers for subsequent contact with them and, of course, taking further orders.
