Ukrainian Teaching Assistant at Czech primary school

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na pozici ukrajinského asistenta pedagoga. Hlavním cílem je zjistit, jak ukrajinští asistenti pedagoga na různých českých základních školách vnímají svoji práci. Dílčím cílem je zjistit, jak práci ukrajinských asistentů pedagoga vnímají učitelé základních škol. Bakalářská práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a empirickou část. Teoretická část je zaměřena na vymezení pojmu ukrajinský asistent pedagoga a náplně jeho práce dle české legislativy. Empirická část se zabývá realizovaným kvalitativním výzkumem. Výsledky práce poukázaly, že různí ukrajinští asistenti pedagoga mají jak společné, tak i odlišné body ve vnímání své práce. Stejně tak se jejich pohled shoduje s viděním učitelů jen částečně. Získaná data mohou být přínosná pro další výzkum v dané oblasti. Dalším přínosem bakalářské práce by mohla být inspirace pro vedení a učitele škol, díky čemu se pedagogičtí pracovnici mohou dozvědět, co očekávat od ukrajinských asistentů pedagoga a jak tato spolupráce může ovlivnit proces vzdělávání.

Abstract:

The bachelor's thesis focuses on the topic of the position of Ukrainian teaching assistants. The main goal of the thesis is to find out how Ukrainian teaching assistants at various Czech primary schools perceive their work. Another goal is to determine how the work of Ukrainian teaching assistants is perceived by primary school teachers. The bachelor's thesis is divided into a theoretical and an empirical part. The theoretical part is focused on defining the concept of Ukrainian teaching assistant and the content of their work according to Czech legislation. The empirical part deals with conducted qualitative research. The results of the thesis showed that different Ukrainian teaching assistants have both common and different points in the perception of their work. In the same way, their view coincides with that of teachers only partially. The obtained data can be valuable for further research in the given area. Another potential benefit of the bachelor's thesis could be to inspire school management and teachers, through which educational workers can learn what to expect from Ukrainian teaching assistants and how this collaboration can affect the educational process.
