Unemployment and employment of secondary school graduates on the labor market in the Velka Bites region

Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na téma nezaměstnanost a uplatnění absolventů středních škol na trhu práce konkrétně v regionu Velká Bíteš. Jejím hlavním cílem je zjistit, jaká jsou očekávání absolventů středních škol při vstupu na trh práce a jak moc se tato očekávání liší od reality. V teoretické části diplomové práce je objasněná nezaměstnanost včetně jejích typů a příčin, dále termíny jako například politika zaměstnanosti, trh práce. V empirické části se práce zabývá výzkumem, jehož výsledkem je naplnění výše uvedených cílů. Závěrem empirické části této diplomové práce je vyhodnocení výzkumu, jehož součástí je celkové vyhodnocení a komentář, porovnání s realitou a stanovení závěru. Ukazuje se, že nároky absolventů se velmi různí a nelze tedy jednoznačně generalizovat fakt, že finanční a nefinanční požadavky absolventů jsou vysoké, neboť tyto požadavky jsou závislé na mnoha proměnných a často jsou též dosažitelné na trhu práce.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on the unemployment and employment of high school graduates on the labour market in the Velká Bíteš region. Its main objective is to find out what are the expectations of high school graduates when entering the labour market and how much these expectations differ from reality. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis explains the unemployment including types and causes, as well as terms such as the employment policy, labour market. In the empirical part, the thesis deals with the research that resulted in the fulfilment of the above objectives. The empirical part of this thesis concludes with an evaluation of the research, which includes an overall assessment and commentary, a comparison with reality, and a determination of the back-up. It shows that the demands of graduates vary widely and therefore it is not possible to generalize the fact that the financial and non-financial demands of graduates are high, as these demands depend on many pro – variables and are often also achievable on the labour market.
