Abstract:
Klíšťová encefalitida patří mezi nejzávažnější onemocnění přenášená klíšťaty ve střední Evropě. Je způsobena virem klíšťové encefalitidy (čeleď Flaviviridae). Tento virus se vyskytuje v tzv. přírodních ohniscích nákazy. Udržování viru v přírodních ohniscích nákazy je zajišťováno cirkulací mezi rezervoáry, vektory a hostiteli. Tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) is one of the most serious diseases transmitted by ixodid ticks in Central Europe. It is caused by the tick-borne encephalitis virus (family Flaviviridae). This virus occurs in so-called natural foci. Maintenance of the virus in natural foci is ensured by its circulation between reservoirs, vectors and hosts.
