New World winemaking development analysis

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zjistit jak se vyvíjí vinařství Nového světa, současné postavení vín ze zemí Nového světa na trhu, pomocí výzkumu zjistit míru povědomí o těchto vínech, jejich oblíbenost a úspěšnost na trhu. Dále pomocí výzkumu zjistit v čem jsou jejich specifika a proč s každým rokem nabývají stále větší popularity po celém světě z pohledu podnikatelů, kteří importují a obchodují s vínem. V teoretické části je popsána histоrie a současné postavení vín ze zemí Nového světa. Dále v této části jsou jednotlivě popsány největší vinařské země Nového světa a současné tendence spojené s vinařstvím v těchto zemích. Analytická část je zaměřena na výzkum mezi běžnými spotřebiteli a rovněž podnikateli, kteří importují a obchodují s vínem v ČR a Bělorusku. Dále následuje analýza a vyhodnocení tohoto výzkumu. V analytické části je také znázorněna situace s importem vín Nového světa do Běloruska a ČR. V závěru práce jsou shrnuty veškerá získaná data z analytické části a vyhodnocení průzkumu úspěšnosti a konkurenční schopnosti vín Nového světa.

Abstract:

The aim of the bachelor’s thesis is to determine how New World winemaking is developing, the current status of wines from New World countries on the market, with the help of the research to evaluate the level of awareness of these types of wines, their popularity and success on the market. Then on the basis of this research to find out what are their specifics and why with each year they are constantly getting even more popular in the world from the observation of entrepreneurs who import and trade with wine. In the theoretical chapter is described the history and the current status of wines from New World countries. In this chapter are also separately described the biggest New World winemaking countries and recent trends in winemaking of these countries. The analytical chapter focuses on the survey among common consumers as well as among businessmen, who import and trade with wine in Czech Republic and Belarus. Further, the analysis and evaluation of that survey follows. In the analytical chapter is also depicted the situation with the import of New World wines to Belarus and Czech Republic. In the conclusion of the thesis is summarized all obtained information from the analytical chapter and survey’s evaluations of the success and competitive ability of New World wines.
