Abstract:

Cílem této práce je seznámit čtenáře s technologií bezdrátového optického přenosu dat. Čtenář získá představu o FSO zařízení, jeho parametrech a výhodách oproti jiným bezdrátovým technologiím. V teoretické části se práce zabývá zejména problematikou atmosférických vlivů a jejich dopadu na kvalitu přenosu, dále pak srovnáním zdrojů modulovaného optického svazku (LED diody a Laseru). V neposlední řadě se práce zabývá bezpečností bezdrátového optického přenosu dat. V praktické části je realizován optický bezdrátový spoj Ronja Tetrapolis, dostupný pod licencí GPU / GNL. Zařízení je prakticky postaveno a otestováno bez optické části. Sestaveno je z dostupných součástek, dosahuje rychlosti 10Mb/s full-duplex a je kompatibilní s IEEE802.3 standardem.

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to acquaint the reader with the technology of wireless optical data transfer. The reader gets an idea of the FSO system, its characteristics and advantages over other wireless technologies. Theoretical part of the work is focused on the issue of atmospheric effects and their impact on overal performance, also comparing the common modulated optical beam sources (LEDs and laser diodes). Finally, the work deals with the question of safety of wireless optical data transfer. The practical part of the work is realized by an optical wireless link Ronja Tetrapolis, which is licensed under the GPU / GNL. The device is practicaly built and tested without its optical subsystem. Device is made from available off-the-shelf components, reaching transfer speed of 10Mb/s full-duplex and is compatible with the IEEE802.3 standard.
