Tourist guide

Abstract:

This thesis is focused on the tourist guide and points out his or her importance. The thesis is divided into two main parts: the theoretical and the practical one. In the theoretical part, we deal with the general characteristics of the tourist guide, development of the tourist guide work, the tourist guides typology and their specific responsibilities. Thereafter we continue by education of the tourist guides, laws and requirements that must be fulfil in order to practise their work. In the practical part we create an itinerary of excursion in the tourist region of the North Moravia and Silesia for Spanish tourists. We focused on two areas of the region, particularly on the Ostrava region and local technical monuments, and then on the area of Beskydy and Wallachia. We selected and analyzed the interesting places and monuments from both areas that could attract tourists from Spain.

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zaměřuje na průvodce cestovního ruchu a poukazuje na jeho význam. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části: na část teoretickou a praktickou. V teoretické části se zabýváme obecnou charakteristikou turistického průvodce, vývojem průvodcovské činnosti, typologií průvodců a jejich konkrétními povinnostmi. Dále se věnujeme vzdělávání průvodců, zákonům a požadavkům, které musí splnit, aby mohli vykonávat práci průvodce. V praktické části jsme vypracovali itinerář poznávacího zájezdu v turistickém regionu Severní Moravy a Slezska pro španělské turisty. Zaměřili jsme se na 2 oblasti tohoto regionu, konkrétně na Ostravsko a tamní technické památky, a dále pak na oblast Beskyd a Valašska. Z obou oblastí jsme vybrali a analyzovali zajímavá místa a památky, které by mohly zaujmout turisty ze Španělska.
