Abstract:

Diplomová práce je zaměřena na problematiku souladu byznysu a IT složek na strategické úrovni ve středně velkých organizacích. Hlavním cílem diplomové práce je vytvoření návrhu strategie IT sektoru a plánu její implementace v nejmenované Společnosti X. Práce je rozdělena do čtyř částí – první část je zaměřena na zpracování teoretických podkladů, které budou dále sloužit pro analýzu společnosti a návrh její IT strategie. Účelem této části je uvést celkovou problematiku souladu byznysu a IT složek na strategické úrovni, což je zásadní pro porozumění následujících částí práce. Část druhá je zaměřena na Společnost X – zde je rozebrána její struktura, prostředí, způsob fungování a stav jejího IT sektoru. Třetí část je zaměřena na analýzu IT strategie Společnosti Z, která je svojí velikostí a zaměřením podobná zkoumané Společnosti X. Cílem této analýzy je zjistit, jak se tato problematika řeší v praxi – konkrétně tedy, jaký přístup má podobná firma k IT strategii a jaké jsou jeho výhody či nevýhody. Na základě všech těchto poznatků je v čtvrté části popsán postup tvorby IT strategie a její forma, a dále je vytvořen samotný návrh IT strategie Společnosti X včetně hrubého návodu její implementace.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis is focused on problematics of business IT alignment at the strategic level in medium-sized organizations. The main goal of the diploma thesis is to create a draft strategy for the IT sector and a plan for its implementation in the unnamed Company X. The thesis is divided into four parts. The first part is focused on the processing of theoretical data, which will be used for the analysis of the company and the design of its IT strategy. The purpose of this part is to present the overall issue of compliance of business and IT components at the strategic level, which is essential for understanding the following parts of the work. The second part is focused on Company X - here is discussed its structure, environment, mode of operation and the state of its IT sector. The third part is focused on the analysis of the IT strategy of Company Z, which is similar in size and focus to the examined Company X. The aim of this analysis is to find out how this issue is addressed in practice - specifically, what approach a similar company has to IT strategy and what are its advantages or disadvantages. Based on all these findings, the fourth part describes the process of creating an IT strategy and its form, and also the draft IT strategy of Company X is created, including a rough guide to its implementation.
