Induction Programme focused on middle and upper management

Abstract:

Tématem diplomové práce byl Induction Programme pro střední a vyšší management, který zahrnuje nejen školení spadající do vzdělávání nových zaměstnanců, ale také další aktivity spojené s nástupem do nového zaměstnání. Cílem práce bylo zodpovědět otázku, v čem spočívá vhodný model tohoto programu, co je jeho obsahem a základním rozdílem oproti programu pro řadové zaměstnance. Informace byly zjišťovány pomocí rozhovorů s personalisty společností různého zaměření i velikosti, studiem interních dokumentů i teoretických konceptů. Výsledky šetření ukázaly na rozdíly mezi programy pro různé skupiny zejména v oblasti zvolené formy, přičemž u manažerských pozic je možno více využít prvku samostatnosti, různého obsahu a hloubky témat, rozdílné délky trvání a také zaměření na rozvoj jiných znalostí a dovedností. Významným prvkem při tvorbě programu je jeho variabilita a individuální nastavení pro každou pracovní pozici. V rámci diplomové práce byl vypracován vzorový model Induction Programme pro střední a vyšší management. Rozsah základního textu je 18 222 slov.

Abstract:

The topic of this diploma thesis was Induction Programme focused on middle and upper management. Induction Programme includes not only training within the training of new employees, but also other activities associated with the onset of a new job. The goal of this thesis was to answer the question, what is the appropriate model for this programme, what is its content and what is the difference between this programme and programme for regular employees. To learn this, interviews with HR managers, studying companies’ documentation and also theoretical sources were done. Results showed the differences between the programmes for different groups especially in the chosen form, while for managerial positions is possible to use self-control element, different content and depth of topics, different duration and also focus on the development of other knowledge and skills. An important element in the creation of the programme is its variability and individual settings for each job. Within this thesis has been prepared sample model of Induction Programme for middle and upper management. The range of the basic text is 18,222 words.
