Changes in bank regulation after the financial crises

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce na téma „Změny bankovní regulace po finanční krizi“ popisuje nejvýznamnější změny v bankovní regulaci po finanční krizi. Cílem je podat ucelený přehled nejvýznamnějších změn od propuknutí krize do současnosti a nastínit pohled různých politiků a státníků na provedené změny. Práce je rozdělena na 3 bloky, které se zabývají změnami na úrovni celosvětové, evropské a změnami ve Spojených státech amerických. Každý z bloků je reprezentován jednou nejvýznamnější změnou. Postupně je tak popsána problematika standardů Baselu III, Bankovní unie, a zákona Dodd-Frank. Hlubší pohled je kladen na změny bankovní regulace v Evropské unii.

Abstract:

This thesis titled „Changes in bank regulation after the financial crises“, presents the biggest changes in banking regulation after the financial crises. The aim of this thesis is to provide the summary of these changes from the beginning of the crises to these days and outline the opinions of economists and politicians. The thesis is divided into three parts which are aimed at global changes, changes in the European Union and finally in the USA. Every section is represented by the most important change. The thesis goes throw the issue of Basel III, banking union and Dodd-Frank act.
