The problems of child with cerebral palsy

Abstract:

Úvod Dětská mozková obrna je onemocnění, které se projevuje poruchou hybnosti. Toto onemocnění vzniká nejčastěji v období prenatálním - v těhotenství, perinatálním - během porodu, a časně postnatálním - do několika měsíců od narození. Dětská mozková obrna má několik forem, kdy k nejzávažnějším formám patří forma kvadruspastická. S dětskou mozkovou obrnou souvisejí i přidružené problémy, mezi které patří epilepsie, poruchy zraky a sluchu, mentální postižení a jiné. Cíl a metodika Hlavním cílem této práce bylo charakterizovat dítě s dětskou obrnou. Metodikou průzkumu byla zvolena případová studie neboli kazuistika, konkrétně zaměřena na patnáctiletého chlapce s dětskou mozkovou obrnou. Tato metoda umožňuje podrobnou analýzu zkoumaného případu. Dílčími cíly bylo zjistit informovanost matky o dětské mozkové obrně a zaznamenat nejčastější ošetřovatelské problémy u dítěte s dětskou mozkovou obrnou. Primárním zdrojem byla matka dítěte. Dalším cenným zdrojem byla ošetřovatelská dokumentace a lékařské zprávy. Kazuistika Ondra je patnáctiletý chlapec, kterému byla ve dvou letech stanovena diagnóza dětská mozková obrna kvadruspatická forma. Od narození se potýkal s celou řadou komplikací. Během dětství prodělal několik, zejména ortopedických, operací. Ondra je nyní umístěn v ústavu sociální péče, kde se o něj stará kvalitně zaškolený ošetřovatelský personál. Dominantními problémy u něj jsou porucha pohyblivosti a s tím spojená nesoběstačnost, mentální postižení, postižení zraku a porucha řeči. Závěr Kazuistika přibližuje příběh patnáctiletého chlapce, kterému byla diagnostikovaná dětská mozková obrna. Ukazuje na nejčastější ošetřovatelské problémy, se kterými se dítě s touto nemocí obvykle setkává a na důležitou práci ošetřovatelského personálu, bez které by se dítě s dětskou mozkovou obrnou neobešlo.

Abstract:

Introduction The cerebral palsy is a disease, which exhibits with symptoms of disorders of movements. This disease usually originates in prenatal period - during pregnancy, in perinatal period - during the childbirth and in early postnatal period - within a few months after birth. The cerebral palsy has many forms; one of the gravest is a quadruspastic form. There are a lot of other problems, which are related with poliomyelitis such as epilepsy, disorders of hearing and visual sense, mental handicaps and others. Objectives and Methodology The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to characterize a child impacted by cerebral palsy. Method of the research was specified as a case study called as well casuistry; concretely it is focused on a 15 - year - old boy, who is suffering from cerebral palsy. This method allows doing a detailed analysis of examined case. Partial aims were to find out mother?s foreknowledge of the disease and to write down the most frequent treatment?s problems by a child with cerebral palsy. The primary source was the boy?s mother. Another valuable source was the treatment documentation and medical reports. Case Report Ondra is a 15-year-old boy, who was diagnosed cerebral palsy, the quadruspastic form, when he was 2 years old. Since his birth he has contended with a lot of problems. He underwent a lot of surgeries, chiefly orthopedical. Ondra is now placed in a social care institute, where he is looked after by an educated nursing staff. The dominant problems are the disorder of his mobility and the connected unself-sufficiency, mental disability, visual impairment and speech disorder. Conclusion and Evaluation The casuistry familiarizes us with a story of 15-year-old boy, who was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. It points out the most frequent treatment?s problems, which the child usually meets and the work of nursing stuff, without which the child with cerebral palsy would not be able to live.
