Zkoumání změn v endozomálním proteomu u Alzheimerovy choroby za vyžití SORL1-deficientních kortikálních neuronů jako modelu
Insights into changes in endosomal proteom in Alzheimer’s disease using SORL1-deficinet cortical neurons as a model
Abstract:
Alzheimerova choroba (AD) způsobuje nejčastější formu demence u stárnoucí popu-lace, charakteristickou ukládáním neurotoxických plaků amyloidu beta (Aβ), hyper-fosforylací Tau proteinu a jeho formovaní v neurofibrilární spleti. Cílení na tyto pro-cesy zatím nebylo z terapeutického hlediska příliš úspěšné a je pravděpodobné, že jde spíše o příznaky AD, nežli o její příčiny. Dysfunkce endozomů a poruchy …moreAbstract:
Alzheimer’s disease (AD) causes the most common form of dementia in the elderly, characterized by deposition of neurotoxic amyloid-beta (Aβ) plaques, hyperphos-phorylation of Tau protein and formation of neurofibrillary tangles. Therapeutical targeting of these processes has been so far unsuccessful in the treatment of AD, and they are likely the effect rather than the cause of AD. Dysfunction of endosomes …more
