Demographic aging of the population in the regions

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá problematikou demografického stárnutí a zkoumá, zda v jednotlivých krajích ČR stárne obyvatelstvo stejným způsobem. Součástí práce je zobrazení demografické struktury v krajích ČR v roce 2001 a 2021 a zhodnocení dané změny. Dále je provedena korelační analýza, která zkoumá vztahy mezi vybranými ukazateli s porodností a postproduktivní složkou obyvatelstva v jednotlivých krajích. Analýzou bylo zjištěno, že existuje rozdílnost v kontextu demografického stárnutí v jednotlivých regionech. Dále byla zjištěna existence vztahu mezi ekonomickými ukazateli a počtem narozených dětí.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the issue of demographic aging and examines whether the population is aging in the same way in individual regions of the Czech Republic. Part of the thesis is a depiction of the demographic structure in the regions of the Czech Republic in 2001 and 2021 and an evaluation of the given change. Furthermore, a correlation analysis is carried out, which examines the relationships between selected indicators with the birth rate and the post-productive component of the population in individual regions. The analysis found that there is a difference in the context of demographic aging in individual regions. Furthermore, the existence of a relationship between economic indicators and the number of children born was established.
