Cílem této práce je popsat průběh knižní války vyvolané románem Hannu Salamy Juhannustanssit a skrze něj nastínit rozsah svobody slova a cenzury ve Finsku v 60. letech 20. století. Nejprve je představena finská literatura 60. let 20. století a předchozí knižní války, následně se práce věnuje svobodě slova a cenzuře. The bachelor’s thesis aims to describe the course of the book war caused by the novel Juhannustanssit by Hannu Salama and through it delineate the extent of freedom of speech and censorship in Finland in the 1960s.
