Práce se zabývá procesem suburbanizace, především jejím rezidenčním typem, který se vyznačuje přesunem obyvatel z jádrového města do jeho zázemí. Tento proces je nejpatrnější v okolí Prahy, proto byla zvolena případová studie obce Hostivice, která se nachází v okrese Praha-západ. Práce je zaměřena na obyvatelstvo, bydlení a dopravu. This work deal with suburbanization, especially with its residential type, which is demarcating by citizens? transfer from centre core city to its hinterland. This process is mostly apparent in Prague?s neighborhood, therefore for the case study was chosen Hostivice, which is located in Prague-west canton.
