Pregnant women education about non-pharmacological methods of pain relief

Abstract:

Hlavním cílem bakalářské práce bylo navrhnout a vytvořit edukační plán pro těhotné ženy o nefarmakologických metodách tlumení bolesti při porodu. Dílčím cílem edukace bylo vytvoření edukační brožury obsahující informace o vybraných nefarmakologických metodách tlumení bolesti. Edukovány byly celkem 4 těhotné ženy, po předchozí domluvě byla edukace provedena v domácím prostředí. Edukace byla provedena individuální formou, u dvou edukací byl přítomen i partner ženy. Cílem individuální edukace je zaměřit se na jednotlivé nedostatky a zájmy edukované ženy. Edukační proces probíhal v 5 fázích: posouzení, stanovení diagnóz, plánování, realizace a vyhodnocení edukace. Edukace byla naplánována na jednu edukační jednotku, která byla rozdělena na část teoretickou, ve které byly ženě předány stručné teoretické informace o možnostech nefarmakologického tlumení bolesti, v této části edukační jednotky byl ženám předán také edukační materiál pro upevnění znalostí. Druhou částí edukační jednotky je praktický nácvik ženou vybraných metod. Posouzení klientek proběhlo formou krátkého rozhovoru a vyplnění vstupního dotazníku. Dále proběhlo stanovení edukačních diagnóz podle NANDA International Taxonomie 2018-2020 a sestavení edukačního plánu. Po 2 měsících byl ženě zaslán výstupní znalostní test zaměřený na ověření získaných informací, ze kterého vyplynulo, že edukace byla přínosná a úspěšná.

Abstract:

The main objective of this bachelor thesis was to design and develop an educational plan for pregnant women about non-pharmacological methods of pain relief. The partial educational goal was the design of the educational brochure, which containing information about non-pharmacological methods of pain relief. A total of 4 pregnant women were educated, by prior arrangement, the education was carried out in a home environment. The education was done in an individual way, the woman's partner was also present at two of the educatin. The aim of individual education is to focus on the individual shortcomings and interests of the educated woman. The training process took place in 5 phases, which include evaluation, diagnostics, planning, implementation and evaluation of education. The education was planned for one educational unit, which was divided into a theoretical part, in which the woman was given brief theoretical information about the possibilities of non-pharmacological pain relief, in this part of the educational unit the women were also given educational material for the consolidation of knowledge. The second part of the educational unit is practical training by women of selected methods. The assessment of the clients took place in the form of a short interview and filling in an initial questionnaire. Furthermore, educational diagnoses were established according to the NANDA International Taxonomy 2018-2020 and an educational plan was compiled. After 2 months, the woman was sent an exit knowledge test aimed at verifying the information obtained. From which it emerged that the education was beneficial and successful.
