Economic diplomacy within the relations of the Czech Republic and France

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá ekonomickou diplomacií mezi Českou republikou a Francií se zaměřěním na základní pojmy, které souvisí se zmíněným tématem,jako je například definování českých a francouzských subjektů ekonomické diplomacie včetně jejich úloh či aspektů formující české a francouzské prostředí této specifické oblasti diplomacie. Cílem práce je na příkladu česko-francouzské firmy znázornit fungování ekonomické diplomacie v období, kdy byla společnost v československém, respektive českém vlastnictví a v době jejího začlenění do francouzského koncernu. Práce je doplněna o analýzu obchodních vztahů mezi ČR a Francií v oblastech přímých zahraničních investic, exportu a importu a hlavních ekonomických odvětví.

Abstract:

The bachelor dissertation deals with economic diplomacy between the Czech Republic and France, focusing on basic concepts related to the topic, such as defining Czech and French subjects of economic diplomacy, including their roles or aspects shaping the Czech and French environment of this specific area of diplomacy. The aim of the dissertation is to illustrate the functioning of economic diplomacy in the period when the company was under Czechoslovak or Czech ownership and at the time of its integration into the French concern. The dissertation is complemented by an analysis of trade relations between the Czech Republic and France in the areas of foreign direct investment, export and import and the main economic sectors.
