Práce šlechtí: Vliv odchodu do důchodu na zdraví

The effect of retirement on physical and mental health
Abstract:
Za použití panelových dat z výzkumu SHARE a metody fixních efektů tato práce zjišťuje, že důchod má významný negativní dopad jak na fyzické, tak psychické zdraví. Konkrétně výsledky ukazují, že důchodci mají oproti lidem, kteří v důchodu nejsou, o 0,85 více chronických onemocnění, dále problémy s o 0,3 více pohybových aktivit a index tělesné hmotnosti o 0,07 bodu větší. Abstract:
By using panel data from SHARE this thesis shows, that retirement has a negative effect on indicators of physical and mental health. Results from using fixed effects models suggest that retirement leads to 0,85 points increase in chronic diseases, 0,3 points increase in difficulties associated with mobility and 0,07 points increase in body mass index.
