Benefits in organization as a motivation factor in a working process

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá benefity ovlivňujícími motivaci zaměstnanců a jejich spokojenost. V práci jsou nejprve rozebrány teoretické poznatky týkající se motivace a souvisejících pojmů a zejména oblasti benefitů, kde jsou popsány druhy, význam poskytování i jejich nevýhody. Analytická část si klade za cíl zjistit spokojenost zaměstnanců s nabízenými benefity a jejich využití v konkrétní firmě, kterou představuje společnost ZEBR. Zde je popsaná její historie i současnost včetně firemní kultury, a především poskytované benefity a srovnání s konkurencí. Provedené dotazníkové šetření ve společnosti, zaměřené na využití benefitů, je v práci vyhodnoceno a shrnuto. Na základě odpovědí získaných od respondentů jsou navržena opatření, která povedou ke zlepšení nabízených benefitů a větší spokojenosti zaměstnanců.

Abstract:

The thesis focuses on benefits that affect the motivation of employees and their satisfaction. Firstly, the work investigates theoretical findings regarding motivation and related terms, and especially the area of benefits, where the types, importance of providing, and their disadvantages are described. The analytical part has the goal of finding out the satisfaction of the employees with offered benefits and their use in a specific firm, in this case, the firm ZEBR. Here, its history and present are defined, including the firm’s culture, and primarily provided benefits, and comparison with the competition. A questionnaire survey concentrating on the use of benefits was conducted in the company and is evaluated and summarized in the paper. Based on the answers received, measures that will lead to an improvement of offered benefits and greater employee satisfaction are proposed.
