Child soldiers and their situation in African countries.

Práce popisuje situaci dětských vojáků v Africe.

Abstract:

Africa is a continent which in comparison with others operate the most children's soldiers on. Problems of children´s soldiers isn´t explicitely phenomenon of the modern age. The maim purpose of this work is to provide the komplete picture of the situation of the child soldiers in Africa. For better understanding this work focuses on the characteristic of chosen terms, it characterizes contens of fundamental documents, that with their contenses concern children's soldiers and it offers the view on certain armed conflicts in the world.Basis for the second part of this work are historical examples of under-aged taking part in the army. This paper also explains the impossibility of education, break-up of the families, cultural and ideological causes as a main reason of children's voluntary participation in armed conflicts. It characterizes the work of international govermentand international non-profit organizations.
