Sexuality and Gender - Reflection in the Literature of 19th Century

Abstract:

Diplomová práce Obrazy genderové perspektivy intimního života v diskurzu krásné literatury českého prostředí 19. století, je zaměřena na otázky a témata, jak byl v dobovém kontextu krásné literatury reflektován intimní život žen i mužů. Práce si klade otázku, jakým způsobem je tedy lidská intimita reflektována v beletristických dílech daného období. Cílem práce je dojít k závěrům, jaké genderové perspektivy lidské intimity lze nalézt v těchto dílech a jak byla lidská intimita zobrazována. Konkrétně se tato práce věnuje dílčím tématům jako je vstup do manželství, projevy náklonosti, volba výběru partnera či partnerky a mnoho dalších.

Abstract:

Thesis The Reflection of gender perspective of intimate life in the discourse of fiction literary in the Czech environment in 19th century is aim at questions and topics, which in the period context reflected intimate life of women and men. A thesis question is, how the human intimacy reflected into belletrist work the given period does. The aim of the thesis is reached the conclusion about the questions, which gender perspective of human intimacy we can find in these works. The second aim is to find, how the human intimacy was displayed. Concretely, the thesis pushes ahead the constitutive topics like marriage, expression of love, the choice of preference about partners and many others.
