The effects of the financial crisis on the Southeast Asian markets

Abstract:

When we talk about the financial and economical crisis, it is almost impossible to consider it’s impact on any world region as an impact on one entity. Also because of this reason it is necessary to contradistinguish the countries that belong to the examined Southeast Asia subregion. I briefly describe particular countries of the subregion. Important space is also devoted to actual socio-political as well as to economical situation in particular examined countries. I pay attention also to analyse processes of integration in Southeast Asia. Important component of the diploma work is also the analysis of the process of financial crisis that inflicted this region at the end of 90s.

Abstract:

Je takmer nereálne hovoriť o dosahu finančnej či hospodárskej krízy na akýkoľvek svetový región ako celok. Aj z tohto dôvodu je nevyhnutné detailne rozlišovať medzi jednotlivými krajinami tvoriacimi skúmaný región juhovýchodnej Ázie. Stručne preto popisujem jednotlivé krajiny tohto regiónu. Priestor je tiež venovaný aktuálnemu socio-politickému ako aj ekonomickému stavu v jednotlivých skúmaných krajinách. Venujem sa aj analýze integračných procesov v juhovýchodnej Ázii. Dôležitou súčasťou práce je analýzapriebehu finančnej krízy, ktorá zasiahla tento región na konci 90-tych rokov.
