Nursing Process in a Pacient with Spondylodiscitis Following After Endocarditis

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce je zaměřená na léčbu spondylodiscitidy a na ošetřovatelský proces u pacienta se spondylodiscitidou, která vznikla na podkladě probíhající infekční endokarditidy. Cílem práce je obeznámit čtenáře s konzervativní a operační léčbou spondylodiscitidy a popsat ošetřovatelskou péči u pacienta před a po spondylochirurgické operaci. Práce je rozdělena na dvě části. V teoretické části je podán stručný popis současného pohledu na etiologii, diagnostiku a léčbu spondylodiscitidy a infekční endokarditidy s důrazem na problematiku souběhu těchto dvou závažných onemocnění. V praktické části je popsán proces ošetřovatelské péče u pacienta před a po spondylochirurgickém výkonu na ortopedické klinice. Praktická část obsahuje čtyři aktuální a tři potenciální diagnózy zjištěné podle modelu Marjory Gordon. Dále jsou vypracovány podle NANDA International Nursing Diagnoses 2018-2020. V závěru práce jsou uvedena doporučení pro praxi

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis is focused on spondylodiscitis and the nursing care involved in its management. In the thesis a case of a patient with spondylodiscitis caused by an infectious endocarditis is presented and the details its nursing care are discussed. The aim of the work is to acquaint readers with conservative and surgical treatment of spondylodiscitis and describe nursing care before and after spine surgery. The work is divided into a theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part provides a brief description of the current view of the etiology, diagnosis and treatment of spondylodiscitis and infectious endocarditis with emphasis on the issue of coexistence of these two serious diseases. The practical part describes the process of nursing care for patients before and after spine surgery operations performed at orthopedic department. The practical part contains four current and three potential diagnoses found according to the model of Marjory Gordon. They are also developed according to NANDA International Nursing Diagnoses 2018-2020. Recommendations for clinical practice are given at the end of the thesis.
