Ab initio calculations of structural properties and stability of TiSi2
Abstract:
Tato bakalářská práci se zabývá ab initio výpočty vlastností disilicidu titanu ve fázích C45, C49 a C40. Na základě strukturní relaxací byly získány rovnovážné parametry jednotlivých fází a z energií odpovídajícím těmto parametrům byla zjištěna tvorné tepla jednotlivých fází vůči fázi C49 a vůči čistým prvkům ve standardním stavu. Též byly zkoumány hustoty stavů a bulk moduli jednotlivých fází.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with ab initio calculations of properties of titanium disilicide in the C54, C49 and C54 phases. By structural relaxation were obtained equilibrium structural parameters and the heat of formation was evaluated with respect to the C49 phase and pure elements in their ground state. Density of states and bulk moduli of the individual phases were also investigated.
