Issues of inclusive education focused on pupils with mental disabilities

Abstract:

Abstrakt Bakalářská práce je zaměřena na problematiku inkluzivního vzdělávání žáků s mentálním postižením na běžných základních školách. Práce je rozdělena na dvě hlavní části – teoretickou a praktickou část. Teoretická část seznamuje se základní terminologií a úvodem do problematiky mentálního postižení, dále se zabývá vzděláváním žáků s mentálním postižením, poradenskými zařízeními, inkluzí, integrací, socializací dětí s mentálním postižením a popis práce pedagogických pracovníků. Praktická část je založena na výzkumu, který byl prováděn na základě kvantitativní metodologie, konkrétně se jedná o dotazníkovou metodu. Hlavním cílem je zjištění postojů rodičů dětí s mentálním postižením k problematice inkluzivního vzdělávání. Na základě zjištěných dat z dotazníku bude závěr práce věnován shrnutí problematiky a možností, jak zkvalitnit výuku žáků s mentálním postižením na běžné ZŠ.

Abstract:

Abstract The bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of inclusive education of pupils with mental disabilities in common primary schools. The thesis is divided into two main parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part introduces the basic terminology and issues of mental disabilities furthermore it deals with the education of students with mental disabilities, counseling facilities, inclusion, integration, socialization of children with mental disabilities and specifies closely the work of teachers. The practical part is based on research, which was carried out on the basis of a quantitative methodology, it is a questionnaire method in particular. The main goal is to find out the attitudes of parents who have children with mental disabilities towards the issue of inclusive education. Based on the data obtained from the questionnaire, the conclusion of the thesis will be dedicated to a summary of this issue and the possibilities of how to improve the teaching of pupils with mental disabilities at common elementary schools.
