Business plan - start - up business

Abstract:

Business plan is a key strategic document that helps to define company’s future position on the market and a way it is going to be reached. Also, it is a main tool for presenting an investment project to investors. Nowadays, the market place is extremely dynamic, thus, being ready for different scenarios helps to avoid any unexpected results. My thesis starts generally with discussing business and types of business, and then it goes on with business plan and its structure. Finally, the theoretical part describes main methods for evaluating project effectiveness. On the other hand, the practical part deals with a specific project, which is start-up pharmacy business. After the marketing plan and financial analysis, the section continues with the effectiveness evaluation of three scenarios while suggesting an optimal ways to deal with them.

Abstract:

Podnikateľský plán je primárny strategický dokument, ktorý pomáha definovať budúce postavenie firmy na trhu a spôsob, akým to postavenie bude dosiahnuté. Taktiež slúži ako základný materiál pre prezentáciu investičnej príležitosti investorom. Dnešné dynamické obchodné prostredie vyzýva k tomu, aby boli pripravené viaceré alternatívy pri zakladaní spoločnosti, a tým predísť neočakávaným udalostiam. Diplomová práca sa najprv zameriava obecne na podnikateľskú činnosť a jej formy, ďalej prechádza na podnikateľský plán a jeho štruktúru, aby následne popisovala vyhodnotenie efektívnosti projektu základnými metódami. V praktickej časti sa práca venuje konkrétnemu projektu, ktorým je založenie a prevádzkovanie lekárne. Po marketingovej časti a finančnom plánovaní nasleduje vyhodnotenie efektívnosti projektu, ktoré ponúka tri scenáre, ich analýzu rentability a návrhy na optimálny postup pri ich riešení.
