Regional history and their elements of homeland studies at primary school (on teaching region Kloboucko)

Abstract:

Anotace Moje diplomová práce se zaměřuje na obce klobouckého regionu, jakožto významnou oblast jižní Moravy bohatou na nejrůznější tradice. Konkrétně se jedné o vybrané obce Hanáckého Slovácka, které by mohly děti prostřednictvím této práce blíže poznat ze stránky historické, kulturní a geografické. Přestože by práce měla být prospěšná hlavně pro žáky, kteří v tomto regionu žijí, a pomoci jim vybudovat vztah ke svému bydlišti a blízkému okolí, může mít práce význam i pro děti mimo region. Hlavním cílem mé diplomové práce je zpracování návodu ve formě metodických listů, které mohou učitelé základních škol využít při výuce vlastivědy či prvouky, a současně tak své žáky seznámit s historií a zajímavostmi jejich blízkého okolí. Učitelé zde najdou nejen shrnutí teoretických informací k výuce, ale hlavně přímo předpřipraveny výlety či vycházky s aktivitami pro žáky, včetně konkrétních pracovních listů. Práce obsahuje také informace, které lze využít i při přípravě celodenního výletu pro žáky na konci školního roku. Dává učitelům rovněž prostor pro jejich vlastní nápady a fantazii.

Abstract:

Annotation My thesis focuses on the teaching of regional geography as an important means to ensure that children understand the contemporary world and their position in it. I chose Klobouky region as an important area of southern Moravia rich in various traditions. Specifically, my birthplace and educational centre, municipalities of Hanácké Slovácko, which could children travel to learn more about the historical, cultural and geographical topics. Although this material should be primarily useful for students who live in the region, and helpful for them when building a relationship with their home and close surroundings, it might have important outcome also for children outside the region. The main aim of my thesis is to process the instructions and create the methodological sheets that elementary school teachers can use when teaching national history and natural history and at the same time their students can learn about the history and attractions of the surrounding area. Teachers will find not only a summary of theoretical information to teach but also some prearranged tips for the trips or the outings with activities for the students, including specific worksheets. The material also contains the information that can be used to prepare an allday trip for the students at the end of the school year. It also gives teachers the possiblity to implement their own ideas and to use their own imagination.
