Bakalářská práce je věnována komplexní ošetřovatelské péči o pacienta s ileostomií. Teoretická část popisuje anatomii a fyziologii zažívacího traktu, pojem stomie, onemocnění vedoucí k založení stomie, dělení stomií, předoperační a pooperační přípravu pacienta a komplexní ošetřovatelskou péči podle Marjory Gordon s vyspecifikováním potřeb vztahujících se k pacientům s ileostomií.
