Michael Cunningham’s “The Hours” - Translation and Analysis
Abstract:
Bakalářská práce „„Hodiny“ Michaela Cunninghama - překlad a analýza“ se zabývá překladem a analýzou vybraných kapitol knihy The Hours od Michaela Cunninghama. Práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních částí: praktické, která poskytuje vlastní překlad a teoretické, jež se zabývá analýzou tohoto překladu a jeho srovnání s oficiálním českým překladem PhDr. Miroslava Jindry.
Abstract:
Thesis “Michael Cunningham’s “The Hours” - Translation and Analysis” deals with translation and analysis of the selected chapters of The Hours by Michael Cunningham. It is divided into two main parts - practical which provides the new translation and theoretical that is concerned with analysis and comparison to the official translation.
