The organization of tourism in Slovakia - case study of Trnava region

Abstract:

The main aim of the bachelor thesis entitled "The Tourism Organizations in Slovakia - Trnava Region" is to evaluate the activities of tourism organizations in Trnava Region, which have arisen on the grounds of the changes in legislation on the promotion of tourism. The first part is devoted to theoretical bases of destination management and tourism organizations. The thesis briefly describes tourism policy as the basis of destination management. It focuses on the characterization of destination management, its main functions and activities that tourism organizations should perform. The second part is devoted to home tourism policy in Slovakia, whose output is an important Act No.91/2010 Coll. on the promotion of tourism and a brief introduction of selected entities of the survey. Furthermore, the results of the survey including assessment of organizations´ activities are presented. The last part is devoted to the projects which have been carried out by the organizations.

Abstract:

Hlavným zámerom bakalárskej práce na tému ,,Organizace cestovního ruchu na Slovensku - Trnavský kraj" je zhodnotenie činnosti organizácií cestovného ruchu v Trnavskom kraji, ktoré vznikli na základe zmeny legislatívy o podpore cestovného ruchu. Prvá časť práce je venovaná teoretickým východiskám destinačného managementu a organizáciám cestovného ruchu, v krátkosti je opísaná politika cestovného ruchu ako východisko vzniku destinačného managementu. Záver prvej časti je zameraný na charakteristiku samotného destinačného managementu, jeho hlavné funkcie a činnosti, ktoré by organizácie cestovného ruchu mali vykonávať. Úvod druhej časti práce je venovaný politike cestovného ruchu na Slovensku, ktorej významným článkom je Zákon o podpore cestovného ruchu č.91/2010 Z.z., v tejto časti sú stručne predstavené vybrané subjekty prieskumu, výsledky prieskumu organizácií a hodnotenie ich činnosti. Tretia časť je venovaná projektom, ktoré dané organizácie realizovali.
