Diplomová práca sa zaoberá novými pravidlami kapitálovej primeranosti bánk – Basel II, ich implementáciou a dopadmi v bankovom systéme Slovenskej republiky. Úvodná kapitola vysvetľuje teoretické základy bankovej regulácie, klasifikuje riziká bankového podnikania a kapitál na ich krytie.
