Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá narativní analýzou knihy Mariňák: Vojákova kronika války v zálivu. Vedle definování hlavních literárních pojmů a technik, které autor ve svém díle používá, se tato práce orientuje na analýzu aspektů a motivů Swoffordovy války popisovaných v knize a jejich vývoj. Abstract:
This bachelor thesis is a narrative analysis of Anthony Swofford’s Jarhead: a Marine’s Chronicle of the Gulf War and other Battles. Apart from defining the main literary terms and techniques, which the author uses in his writing, this work focuses on the analysis of literary aspects and motifs of Swofford’s war, as described in the book.
