Climate of a Czech School

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se věnuje problematice klimatu na jedné základní škole na Ostravsku. K popisu vybraných jevů, použitých definic a pojmů, byly využity dostupné teorie, které se věnují problematice klimatu na školách. Praktická část práce je zaměřena na zjištění stavu klimatu na škole tak jak jej vnímají všichni účastníci výchovně vzdělávacího procesu. Metodou kvantitativní analýzy dat - údajů, získaných využitím výzkumné techniky sociometrický dotazník, byly testovány pracovní hypotézy vypracované na základě přípravy provedené v teoretické části práce. Z výsledků provedeného šetření byl charakterizován stav jednotlivých zkoumaných složek klimatu školy.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with an issue of the climate at one elementary school in Ostrava region. To describe selected phenomena, applied definitions and terms, I used available theories which deal with the issue of climate at schools. The practical part of the thesis aims at ascertainment of the climate state at the school the way all participants of pedagogically educational process perceive it. Working hypotheses elaborated on the basis of the preparation carried out in the theoretical part of the thesis were tested by the method of quantitative analysis of data ? information which were acquired by research technique ? sociometric questionnaire. The results of the held survey were used to characterize states of individual examined parts of the school climate.
