Cleavages in the European Parliament
Abstract:
Tato práce se snaží shrnout odbornou debatu na téma konfliktní linie v Evropském parlamentu. Základním teoretickým východiskem jsou především teorie rozvíjející Rokkanovu teorii konfliktních linií. Cílem je zjistit, jestli je upravená teorie konfliktních linií aplikovatelná na Evropský parlament a o jakých konfliktních liniích se v tomto kontextu dá uvažovat.
Abstract:
This thesis is trying to reflect academic discussion on topic of cleavages in the European Parliament. The theoretical base for the thesis are theories, that modify Rokkan's theory of cleavages. Its objective is to find out if a modified theory of cleavages is applicable in European Parliament, and which cleavages could be speculated about.
