Diplomová práce posuzuje lázeňství jako jeden z činitelů rozvojového potenciálu regionu z hlediska míry vlivu a využitelnosti v kontextu dalších podmínek. Cílem práce je ověřit, zda a v jaké míře rozvojový potenciál regionu ovlivňuje vznik a celkové fungování jednotlivých lázní, které vznikly nebo již působily v období baroka a co případně zapříčinilo jejich zánik.
