Influence of unmovement regional environmental limits on CR's economy and employment in the Usti Region

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá vlivem neposunutí územních ekologických limitů na ekonomiku ČR a na zaměstnanost v Ústeckém kraji. Nejprve je nastíněna historie těžby hnědého uhlí a oblasti, kde se uhlí nachází. Dále jsou popsány důležité dokumenty, které úzce souvisí s těžbou. Jedná se zejména o Státní energetickou koncepci ČR, Aktualizaci státní energetické koncepce ČR, Surovinovou politiku ČR a související legislativu. Stručně jsou popsány i dvě společnosti těžící hnědé uhlí v Ústeckém kraji, které patří k největším zaměstnavatelům v kraji. V praktické části se práce zabývá zaměstnaností v Ústeckém kraji a možnými důsledky na zaměstnanost a státní rozpočet v případě ukončení těžby. Rozebrány jsou i vzdělanostní skupiny kraje a společností Severočeské doly, a. s. a Czech Coal Group, a. s. V závěru práce jsou krátce zmíněny i příspěvky těchto společností do rozpočtů obcí.

Abstract:

The bachelor dissertation examines the influence of the non-shifting territorial environmental limits on the economy of the Czech republic and employment in the Ústecky region. Firstly, the study outlines the timeline of brown coal mining and it also the mining areas are located. Then, it introduces the essential policies on mining. In particular, the State Energy Concept Czech republic the updated version of the State Energy Policy of the Czech Republic, Raw material policy and other related legislation. Furthermore, two brown coal mining companies, operating in the Usti region, are briefly mentioned. These companies are one of the largest employers in the country. The practical part of the dissertation analyses the situation of the employment in the Ústí nad Labem region and the possible outcomes on the employment and the state budget in the case of mining completion. Moreover, it also investigates the educational groups of the regions and companies such as the North Bohemian Mines and Czech Coal Group. Finally, a brief analysis of financial contributions of these companies, towards the budgets of the municipalities, is carried out.
