Contemporary Issues of the Protection of the State Borders of the Czech Republic

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá aktuálním tématem dnešní doby a to ochranou státní hranice České republiky. Problematika je zaměřena na bezpečnostní složky podílející se na zabezpečení ochrany hranice. V teoretické části bude popsána historie a současnost ochrany státní hranice. Praktická část se bude zabývat možnostmi ochrany jak z pohledu lidských zdrojů, tak z pohledu technických prostředků, které se momentálně vyvíjí, anebo jsou již v různé podobě zavedeny k ochraně státní hranice u ostatních členských států Evropské unie.

Abstract:

This diploma thesis deals with the current topic of the present day by protecting the state border of the Czech Republic. The issue is focused on security forces involved in border security. The theoretical part will describe the history and the present state border protection. The practical part will deal with the possibilities of protection both from the point of view of human resources and from the point of view of the technical means that are currently developing, or they are already in different form introduced to protect the state border of other EU Member States.
